It resulted in the identification of several areas and sites bearing high potential of archaeological remains.
During the survey, an intensive training was provided for undergraduate students participating in the program, focusing on survey methods and techniques, archaeological landscape survey methodologies, ways of recording, mapping and analyzing the archaeological features and sites, etc.  Also, students become acquainted with GIS computer program, an important instrument used to spatially analyze the ample scale of archaeological, historical, geographical, geo-morphological data collected in the survey.
