Develop new methodologies for the study of cultural landscapes, through the creation of scalable working protocols, able to take advantage of the solid background of technologies and analysis methods available to the research group:
- Promotion and development of new study methodologies for cultural landscapes that will be fueled by an interdisciplinary research team, combining the principles and methods of archaeology with modern hydraulic and soil analyses techniques; remote sensing and terrestrial imaging scanner analysis; archaeobotanical studies and specific analyses of the isotopic composition of archaeological woods and seeds.
- Organisation of periodic workshops, courses and seminars among project members in order to share the different working techniques and specific methodologies of every area included in the study, thus contributing to the training of the research staff of each of the participant partners.
- Development and maintenance of a project website, as an important dissemination and working tool. From the very beginning the initiative will take into account both general and specialised audiences.
