UGR and ARQUEO organize a guided tour to the archaeological excavation of Lanteira.

Ana Gámez, Granada Delegate of Education, Culture and Sports  and Jesús Villalba, Mayor of Lanteira, visit the archeological excavation of Lanteira.

UGR and UNESCO present the documentary about the recovery of Acequía de Barjas at the village of Cañar.

Organic production requires certification or quality assurance systems. These guarantee systems can originate from either third party certification or participatory guarantee systems (PGS).
PGS are locally focused quality assurance systems, which certify producers based on active participation of stakeholders and are built on a foundation of trust, social networks and knowledge exchange (IFOAM).

UGR will present t​he MEMOLA project at​ the European Corner during the European Researchs' Night.

UGR, ARQUEO and UNESCO-AND will participate at the European Researchers' night. Their workshop is titled: "Sierra Nevada: the irrigation channels and the landscape".

JM Martín Civantos will give a presentation titled  "Modeling landscape with water"  at the II Encounter with History at the Alpujarra. Agriculture and alpujarreña Moorish cuisine.

On Saturday June 14th at 9:30 Angel  Bañuelos Arroyo, from UNESCO gave a presentation titled "La Alpujarra, its universal and exceptional value".

Palace of Carlos V, Alhambra, Granada June 13th, 14th and 15th. Saturday June 14th at 18:30 José María Martín Civantos participated in the Panel tittled "Agricultural Landscape" as expert.

Participation at the conference titled 'Global Change and National Parks: Challenges and Opportunities' organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment. An event oriented to analyse the impact of climate global change on society through the data gathered in the project " Global Change Monitoring Network in the Network of National Parks". During this conference José María Martín Civantos, MEMOLAproject coordinator,  did a guided tour in the village of Cañar to talk about the importance of the traditional irrigation system in this protected area of Sierra Nevada.
