The University of Padova researchers of MEMOLA project participate next february 25 in the conference "The University of Padua for the landscape. Disciplines in comparison".

Ardit Miti (CeRPHAAL partner) will present a paper on Thursday, 11th February in the session: Regional Trends for Late Roman and Early Medieval Landscapes’ Transformations (Rural).

Paper title:Continuity and Changes in the Rural Landscape of the Upper Vjosa Valley during Late Roman and Early Medieval

On Friday the University of Granada presented "The persistence memory of water in the Mediterranean landscapes" by J.M. Martín Civantos, MEMOLA coordinator. On Saturday the University of Sheffield and Arqueoandalusí Arqueología y Patrimonio presented the poster "Hydraulic landscape of the territory of Trapani (MEMOLA Project)" by Rocco Corselli and Mª Teresa Bonet García.

J.Mª Martín Civantos presented "Build ‪Landscapes‬ with ‪‎water‬. The memory of ‪historical‬ irrigation systems" ‪at a Conference‬ organized by "Laboratorio de Territorios de transformación" in the Higher Technical School of Architecture (University of Granada)

The University of Granada presented "Water and fortifications in Medieval times: the role of castles in landscapes formation" by J.M. Martín Civantos in the "II Conference The medieval fortifications and the study area of Huelma"

Fluvial Dynamics and Hydrology research group (University of Cordoba) presented a poster titled "Monitoring the hydrological regime in snow areas in Mediterranean regions: the Sierra Nevada case (Spain)" in the EO for Water Cycle Science Conference organised by the European Space Agency (esa), Frascati (Italy)

The University of Granada will present "Build ‪landscapes‬ with ‪water‬: the memory of ‪historical‬ ‪irrigation‬ systems of Islamic origin in the Western Mediterranean" by  José Mª Martín Civantos in the "Simposium Red Temática de Patrimonio Biocultural de México" (Cholula - Mexico).

The University of Granada‬ participated in the JIA 2015 VIII Young Researchers in Archaeology Conference at Lisboa with the poster "The Three-dimensional ‪‎archaeological‬ record in the MEMOLA project" by Pablo Romero Pellitero and José Caballero López,  and with the communication "‪Archaeology‬ & ‪Education‬: Bringing the ‪cultural‬ ‪landscapes‬ to ‪schools‬" by Lara Delgado Anés.

The University of Palermo will present the poster "Archaeobotanical study of traditional agroecosystems based on sen-edx analysis of buried phytoliths" in the International Plant Science Conference "Not only food: sustainable development, agro-biodiversity conservation & human well being" (Pavía, Italy)
