The students of Jesús-María Cristo De la Yedra School (Granada) make scale models about their traditional irrigation systems.

Lanteira

Lanteira is a village in the north of the Sierra Nevada belonging to the Marquesado del Zenete. The municipal area extends from the peaks of the mountains to the plains of the plateau. The urban nucleus is located at the foot of the mountain, next to intensive irrigated area that, through a complex system of canals, takes advantage of the waters of the thaw.

At the Camilo Camús Garzón School in Lanteira (Granada) we carry out a StoryTelling about the historical irrigation system. 

We celebrate the Grandsparents Day at the Alféizar School in Cáñar (Granada).  The local elders explain to the students, using old photographs, life in their cultural landscapes.

Lugros

Lugros is located over 1200 meters above the sea level, on the northern slope of Sierra Nevada and the headwaters of the Alhama de Guadix river, which originates at the top of the municipality, under the peak called Picón de Jérez. A site of special natural and cultural interest named La Dehesa del Camarate.
