II Archaeological Excavation Campaign at Pizzo Monaco (Custonaci, Trapani) organized by the MEMOLA project.

The classroom IA and IC from the Pitrè High School of Castellammare del Golfo (Trapani, Sicily) participates at the Seminar on the ancient and modern typology of grains in the province of Trapani.

The classroom IA and IC from the Pitrè High School of Castellammare del Golfo (Trapani, Sicily) participates at the Seminar on native and wild plants in the territory of Monti di Trapani. 

Theoretical and practical seminar on the graft, conservation techniques of ancient fruit trees of traditional agricultural systems, for farmers and enthusiasts. 

Within the educative project "architecture and environment," the class IVB, accompanied by teacher of "geometric Disciplines, architectural and interior design", will study the structure and the use of the Arancio's mill.

Within the educative project "architecture and environment" of the class IVB of the High School "M. Buonarroti" of Trapani is expected to study and the relief of a hydraulic mills of the territory of Calatafimi-Segesta. The April 10 we will make a seminar in order to learn about the history and about hydraulic mills of the territory Calatafimi-Segesta.

The objective of this Round Table is to know, catalogue and promote the ancient local fruit cultivation and their traditional practices of graft. They involved: Giuseppe Bazan,University of Palermo; Rosario Schicchi, University of Palermo;  Rural Development and Territorial of Sicily.

UNIPA will present a poster at the "Biologia e Archeobiologia: dalla Conoscenza alla Conservazione Preventiva"

MEMOLA project will present the project and the documentary of the archaeological excavation of Pizzo Monaco (Custonaci) to the local community. 

At the conference Historical irrigation systems: between conservation and modernization, Antonio Castillo Martín (CSIC.Water Institute -University of Granada) y Francisco Bonet García  (IISTA. University of Granda) will talk about the traditional irrigation systems: environmental values and ecosystem services.
