Vjosa Valley

CeRPHAAL, in collaboration with the municipality of Përmet, students from Aleksandër Xhuvani University and volunteers from the Vlahos community of the Valley, constructed an historical Vlahos dwelling, locally known as Kalidhe or Kalive.

CeRPHAAL in collaboration with the University of “Aleksandër Xhuvani”. Elbasan, carried out the first excavation season at the site of Magjerice, located in the region of Përmet, in the Upper Vjosa Valley.

CeRPHAAL will present "Legacy and reflections in the historical landscape of the Upper River Vjosa Valley (SE Albania) " by E. Serjani and A. Miti in the European Association of Archaeologist. 21st Annual Meeting.

Presentation of the MEMOLA project in the “Sami Frashëri” High School

A. Miti will present the work on the studies undertaken in the Vjosa Valley at the University of Granada, Spain.

At the conference Historical irrigation systems: between conservation and modernization, Antonio Castillo Martín (CSIC.Water Institute -University of Granada) y Francisco Bonet García  (IISTA. University of Granda) will talk about the traditional irrigation systems: environmental values and ecosystem services.

José María Martín Civantos will participate in a panel discussion titled: "Funding opportunities and development for the cultural sector through European I + D programs" organized by the European Culture Funding Department- Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions- at the Conference 2014-2020 funding opportunities for cultural and creative sector.

JM Martín Civantos will give a presentation of MEMOLA project at the International Conference Cultural Heritage: Recalibrating Relationships. The event is organised by RICHES project.
