Medieval Archaeology at the University of Padova (UNIPD) presents a documentary on the cultural landscape of the Euganean Hills, one of the study area of the MEMOLA project.
Documentaries are a great way to record project activities, creating a historical record of an event. They gave us the possibility to combine several media, such as images, audio, text, maps, charts, interviews, etc, in a short and pleasant format that easily attracts user attention, conveying the message. During the recording, we normally involve local stakeholders, as active members living and shaping the Cultural landscapes we are interested in and holders of the traditional knowledge and management of resources. Additionally, they also give us the opportunity to re-organise and disseminate scientific results to the general public, producing produts with significant educational opportunities.
