MEMOLA project participates in the Day of Archaeology 2015, promoted among others by the European project NEARCH. From the MEMOLA project we support this initiative as a way to publicise the work we daily do in the four study area.

As one of the MEMOLA project activities with the local association "Comitato Mura di Padova", some team members from UNIPD will conduct a historical-cultural itinerary in the fortress of Rocca Pendice. During this visit, it will be explained the archaeological research carried out in this castle. Also, since some of the members of this association are specialists in medieval fortifications of the territory of Padua, will be conducted interviews to them to exchange knowledge on this topic.

Specifically, they will be analyzed and surveyed by students the architectural techniques and materials used in the construction of the different phases of the medieval castles of Este and Rocca Pendice
