The application of 3D photogrammetry in archaeology

You are here

In this presentation we want to demonstrate the possibilities of the application of 3D Photogrammetry in archaeology, as it is the case of the excavation of the "Pago del Jarafi" (Lanteira-Granada) carried out in 2014 and 2015 in the framework MEMOLA project. The development of new softwares and techniques, such as Structure from Motion (SfM), has provided archaeologists access to a documentation of highest quality and precision. This poster is part of the results presented at the International Congress “RESCATE. From Stratigraphic Record to the Knowledge Society: the Archaeological Heritage as agent of Sustainable Development (City and Territory)”, held in Cordoba (Spain) from the 18th to 20th of May 2016.
