This year the MEMOLA meeting was in the study area of Colli Euganei (Italy). Thank you UNIPD for hosting and introducing us to the beautiful Cultural Landscapes of Colli Euganei.
Soil samples were started in the area of the Colli Euganei. Dr. Cristiano Nicosia and students from the University of Padua made coring of land in the orchards and vineyards of the Monastery of Praglia.
Arqueoandalusí. Arqueología y Patrimonio visited the traditional irrigation channel of Lanteira (Granada) with the Local Irrigator Community . This visit we will allow to prepare the field work "the recovery of traditional irrigation channel".
The October 26, the UNIPD partner has conducted a laboratory of landscape archaeology through the techniques of Remote Sensing (aerial photo, LiDAR) with the students of the IIS Euganeo at Este. In the lab the students have known the usefulness of the images from remote sensing techniques for the study of cultural landscapes.
The University of Granada participated in the JIA 2015 VIII Young Researchers in Archaeology Conference at Lisboa.
