Documental sobre la recuperación de la acequia de Barjas en Cáñar (Granada). El proyecto (MEMOLA) ha llevado a cabo la recuperación de la acequia de Barjas y el ramal de la Hijuela en Cáñar (Granada, España), que llevaba más de treinta años abandonada. La acequia recorre un paisaje de gran valor natural y cultural dentro del Espacio Protegido de Sierra Nevada, en la comarca de La Alpujarra. Tiene una longitud total de 5 km y discurre por un bosque de castaños y robles, el más meriodional de Europa, y por zonas de cultivo intensivo situadas a unos 1400 m de altitud.
El 16 de abril de 2014 estuvimos en Lugros (Guadix-Granada), situado a más de 1.200 metros de altitud en la falda norte de Sierra Nevada.
